Are you planning to attend Olympic College in 2024/2025 and want to apply for financial aid?

If you’re currently an OC student or a new student enrolling in 2024/2025 (beginning July 1, 2024) and are interested in financial aid, you must complete the 2024/2025 FAFSA or WASFA to be reviewed for eligibility. (See the Financial Aid website to determine which one you should complete).    

Don’t Delay! Enroll in classes as soon as you can!

Enroll for Summer/Fall quarters when your enrollment appointment allows. (Check in ctcLink dashboard now under “Enrollment” for your assigned date.)

If you're enrolled in classes, you will be prioritized for financial aid review. We can’t award aid if you are not enrolled. Last minute changes could delay receiving aid, so we suggest meeting with your advisor early to enroll in the right classes. 

Are you eligible for additional financial aid?

We like to make sure our students are receiving all the aid they are eligible for! Once we receive your FAFSA/WAFSA around mid-June, we’ll send you the Financial Aid Intake Form through your ctcLink portal. Complete this as soon as you can to see if you are eligible for additional aid.

Make sure to check your email often!

We know you get a lot of emails! But you don’t want to miss one from Federal Student Aid (FSA) about your FAFSA application if you need to make changes to it. If FSA says you have FAFSA errors, Sign in to your FAFSA here to check for the errors and fix them. OC Financial Aid might also send you important emails about next steps to make sure you are ready to go.

Worried about being dropped? Don’t worry, we have options to help.

We understand this year is different so while you wait for financial aid, you can request a hold on your classes. You must do two things by Friday, June 28, 2024, for a Summer Quarter hold. 

  1. Complete your FAFSA or WASFA application by June 28, 2024.
  2. Submit an acknowledgement agreeing to the terms of the SGOC Hold policy* by June 28, 2024.**

*You will be required to cover any balance that financial aid does not cover.

**If you are eligible for loans only, you must submit the loan request prior or with the SGOC Hold policy acknowledgement form to receive a hold.
