What is BFET?

What is BFET?

The Basic Food Employment and Training (BFET) program provides grant aid to Olympic College students receiving federal Basic Food Assistance (food assistance/EBT/SNAP) from the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS).

BFET Applications are open throughout the year.

IMPORTANT FUNDING DATES:

Tuition funding assistance is determined by the fifth day of each term for eligible students registered in a qualifying program AND enrolled in BFET. (Funding is based on financial aid unmet need.)

After the 5th day of term starts, students can still be enrolled into BFET and be eligible for support service funding pending financial aid unmet needs and available budget.
