About the Board
The Board of Trustees is the “governing body” of the college, working at the policy level to ensure Olympic College is fulfilling its mission. The board is comprised of five members, each serving rotating five-year terms. Board responsibilities include:
- Hiring and retaining the president
- Awarding tenure to faculty
- Adopting or amending policies
- Approval of collective bargaining agreements
- Approval of tuition and fees
- Approval of the operating and capital budgets
