Student Employment Definitions
Regular Student Employment (RSE) is available to any student who is enrolled in at least 5 credits. This type of employment is not tied to financial aid. The maximum allowable work hours for regular student employees is 18 hours per week. Actual hours may be lower and will depend on the student’s availability and department needs.
Students who qualify for work-study may have any regular student employment (RSE) position funded through their work-study award.
