Join OC Recreation and the Kitsap Regional Library as we host the Washington Trails Association for Hiking 101!

Want to get outdoors but have questions holding you back?  Join OC Recreation and the Kitsap Regional Library for Hiking 101 with the Washington Trails Association (WTA)!

The WTA will present "Hiking 101" from 12-1 pm in the North/South Conference Room.  They will share hike preparation tips, hike recommendations for beginners, answer questions on gear, and much more.  After this presentation, the Kitsap Regional Library will be available to check out hiking-related books, get people signed up for new library cards, and share their "Check Out Washington" kits.

Starting at 1:30pm, the WTA will host a booth on the lower part of campus, near the roundabout and building 4.  If you can't join us for the workshop, stop by and gather resources and ask questions about local trails or whatever you have in mind!  The booth will be staffed from 1:30-2:30pm.

Registration is encouraged but not required for the workshop.  The workshop will be live streamed and registration is required for any attending via zoom.
