Orientation is required before enrolling in our programs. See below the step-by-step guide for enrollment and contact our office to schedule your new student orientation. 

Program Cost: $25 a quarter for all of your classes including textbooks. The tuition fee is waived for students who qualify.

Step-By-Step Enrollment Guide

1Complete Your Application

Congratulations on your decision to enroll in Transitional Studies at Olympic College! The first step for enrollment is to apply to the college. There are three ways to complete your application:

  1. Over the phone
    1. You must send a photo of your government issued ID or passport to @email.
    2. Call Transitional Studies at (360) 475-7550 to complete your application. Our office is open Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
    3. Please leave a voicemail if you can’t reach us, and we will return your call.
  2. In-person at the Bremerton office
    1. A government issued photo ID or passport is required.
    2. Visit our office Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. We are located in building 4, room 223 at the Bremerton Olympic College campus.
    3. Appointments or walk-ins are available. Please call or email us if you would like to set up an appointment.
  3. In-person at the Shelton office
    1. A government issued photo ID or passport is required.
    2. In-person Shelton applications are by appointment only. Please contact Rene Hoopes at (360) 432-5435 or @email to set up your appointment at the Shelton Olympic College campus office.

2Submit the LACES Student Intake Form

Help us get to know you by submitting the LACES intake form. You will need an Olympic College Student ID, so make sure to submit the application before completing this step.

3Complete Your Goal Setting Form

Help us support your academic and career goals by filling out your Goal Setting form. You will need an Olympic College Student ID, so make sure to submit the application before completing this step.

4Submit the Transitional Studies Tuition Waiver

Our programs cost $25 per quarter in tuition. This fee can be waived for students based on financial need. You will need an Olympic College Student ID, so make sure to submit the application before completing this step.

5Contact Transitional Studies to Schedule Your Orientation

After you have completed all of these steps, please contact the Transitional Studies office to schedule your orientation. Orientation is required for all new students.
