Overview

Turn your professional work experience into a teaching career

Olympic College’s Career & Technical Education (CTE) Teacher Prep program is one of six in Washington state authorized to certify CTE teachers on the industry-to-classroom path. The CTE Teacher Prep program equips people with experience in business, military, and a wide range of industries to teach trade specific skills in grade 7-12 classrooms.

The program is also geared for current teachers who want to become CTE certified or who need to add endorsements to their certification. Broad areas of endorsement include agriculture, business and marketing, consumer and family sciences, technology, applied math, and worksite learning.
