What Does a Surgical Technician Do? 

Surgical technologists ensure safe and efficient surgeries by preparing the operating room, sterilizing instruments, and assisting surgeons. They play a crucial role in patient care, from pre-op prep to post-op support.

This six-program can be completed within 18 months and leads to an Associate in Applied Science (AAS): Surgical Technologist Degree. The program prepares you for the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Exam.

Expected Level of Achievement (ELA): National Certification of Surgical Technology Exam (CST) pass rate of 80% (or greater) for first-time test-takers.
