Associate Degree in Nursing (RN) Program Overview

• There are two ways to complete the Associate Degree in Nursing (RN) Application: 

  1.  Download the fillable ADN (RN) Application and email it to SelectiveAdmissions@olympic.edu.

  
  2. Submit the ADN (RN) Application Online Form.

  • Before you begin your online application, you must have an OC student ID#.

According to Federal Regulations at 34 §CFR 668.43, Olympic College is required to disclose student educational requirements of programs leading to licensure that may not meet the licensing standards for students who have marked being from a state other than the state in which enrolled.

For the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), OC has reviewed its RN curriculum for educational requirements for licensure/certification by state and has made the following determinations below: 

Meets RN licensing requirements in:

• Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Guam, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Washington.

Does not meet licensing requirements in: 

• American Samoa, Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New York, North Dakota, North Mariana Island, Puerto Rico, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

This is subject to change annually based on educational requirements that may change from state to state. We encourage students who plan to work out-of-state to check relevant local licensure/certification requirements.
