Learn how to transform old unwanted and discarded clothing and fabrics into beautiful rugs, through the art of weaving. Our experienced instructor will guide you through the process, from selecting materials, to creating your own unique rug. This hands-on workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced weavers alike.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to unleash your creativity and make something beautiful for your home! Come and play on our looms.

Our instructor, Felicity, will share her techniques for upcycling old clothing into functional, useful, and beautiful rag rugs.

She will help her students contemplate which colors and textures work best to weave these artful rugs, while learning traditional weaving skills.

Students will each go home with their very own hand woven rug (approximately 2.5' X 3'). If you want to learn how to keep used clothing and other textiles out of landfills, then you will appreciate this workshop.

All materials will be supplied, however, if you have a special piece of clothing or fabric you would like woven into your rug, do bring it!
