Workshop Description: Jumpstart your professional journey as a Production Assistant (PA) in film and television with our weekend workshop. Over two days, you'll learn the essential skills and knowledge to succeed on set, including the role and responsibilities of a PA, key industry terminology, and how to conduct yourself professionally. The workshop covers common PA tasks, hands-on training with gear like walkie-talkies, and understanding important paperwork such as timecards and invoices. You'll also learn how to craft a standout resume. Plus, explore career advancement opportunities and how to break into the industry. This workshop is your essential starting point for building a successful roadmap in production.

About the Instructor: Dave "Nuge" Nugent brings 19 years of experience in various facets of film production. He started his career as a PA at the age of 42 and quickly earned a reputation for his expertise and reliability, becoming the go-to choice for clients. Within just two years, Nuge advanced to project coordination, gaining valuable experience across multiple industries.

In 2006, Nuge founded Go-4 Nuge, a production rental company. Since then, he has grown his business, establishing a strong presence on film sets with his brand recognized industry-wide. Today, Nuge continues to work on set, driving a production motor home and assisting in the transportation department, alongside his co-business owner and wife, Bobbi Gerlick.
