Location
Bldg. 4, Rm. 125

We will come together to read and discuss Gloria E. Anzaldúa’s pivotal poem “To Live in the Borderlands,” diving deeper into what it means to live between cultures, identities, and worlds. Together, we will reflect on our own places within the borderlands and engage in a conversation that connects personal experience with broader themes.

If time allows, you will have the chance to begin drafting your own borderlands poems, with space to explore your voice and creativity. We will also share a guided activity to take with you, in case you feel inspired to develop your work further and submit to the Borderlands Project, where you can share your writing with the OC community.
