Come join us on this intermediate hiking trip at Green Mountain! The hike will be hosted by Tom Finley, PE Adjunct Professor, and Well-Being & Health Promotion to create an opportunity for students to explore the Washington sights while learning about 7 ways to prevent environmental damage while hiking. 
 

🥾 What to Expect:

  • Hike details: 4.6 miles; 1,000 ft. elevation gain
  • Lunch and transportation provided
  • Students will receive email confirmation of itinerary for 9 am - 2 pm hike and an Assumptions Risk Form
  • Learn about 7 ways to prevent environmental damage while hiking

🎒 Recommended To Bring:

  • A layered clothing system: fast drying & breathable items (avoid jeans, sweatshirts, and cotton as much as possible). Rain jackets are a must.
  • Small snacks (Lunch provided)
  • 2L water
  • Sturdy shoes/running shoes
  • Sunscreen
