Come take a walk down into the Rhododendron Preserve, the last intact old growth forest on the Kitsap Peninsula.  Our walk will take us past a variety of native plants, and we'll focus on the early spring star - Pacific trillium (Trillium ovatum).   We will learn about its life cycle, where to find it, and what role it plays in our forested Pacific Northwest ecosystems.  Class will meet at a park in Central Kitsap County, address will be sent to participants.
