While caring for her husband, Mike, who had Alzheimer's, Rosalys learned how to walk the journey with love and appreciation for who Mike was --and the person he continued to be throughout his illness. As his condition progressed, Mike's doctor took note of how the two of them were managing his care at home. With her journal notes in hand, Rosalys eventually shaped their experience into the book "Mike & Me." Using "Mike & Me" as a guide, this class helps students learn how to support family caregivers and those they care for with dignity, compassion, and genuine appreciation.

Instructor Rosalys Peel is a Registered Nurse and a Gottman-Certified Couples Relationship Specialist.
