More Than a Garland: The Art and Spirit of the Hawaiian Lei

In the mainstream media, the lei is often seen as a simple accessory. In reality, it is a profound symbol of love, honor, and the intricate heritage of Hawaiʻi. Join us for a transformative workshop facilitated by Brandy and Kiara Kealoha, where we dive deep into the true beauty of Native Hawaiian culture.

This session offers a rare opportunity to move past the postcards and into the heart of tradition. You won't just walk away with a beautiful creation; you’ll walk away with a deeper understanding of the stories, protocol, and "mana" (power) woven into every strand.

What to Expect:

  • Authentic Facilitation: Learn directly from Brandy and Kiara Kealoha as they share ancestral knowledge.

  • Hands-On Artistry: Experience the meditative process of creating your own lei.

  • True Representation: Discover the historical and social significance of Native Hawaiian traditions that are often overlooked by popular culture.

Weave a story. Honor a culture. Connect with community.
