International Education Week 2025!
Office of International Education & Study Abroad invites you to celebrate International Education Week, Nov. 17 - 21, 2025.
We have various activities throughout this week to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange on campus.
International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, and it promotes programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.

Mon., Nov. 17: Language Fair

Learn some easy phrases in a variety of languages from OC International Students. International Snacks will be available for everyone who participates.
Tue., Nov. 18: Matcha Green Tea Ceremony
1pm - 2:30pm | Multicultural Center, Bldg. 10, Rm 117
This is a collaboration with the multicultural center. Learn the history of matcha with a demonstration of the traditional way to make matcha. Participants can try to make their own matcha!

Wed., Nov. 19: Temple University Transfer Info Session

Temple University, Japan Campus is the oldest and largest American University in Japan. A representative from Temple University in Japan will explain how OC students can transfer to Temple University after earning their associate degree at Olympic College. Temple University is an American University in Japan, so they accept FAFSA Financial Aid and have classes taught in English.
Thu., Nov. 20: International Game Day

Students can play Traditional Games from Japan, the Philippines, Taiwan and more. This is an opportunity to make international friends and learn about other cultures.
