Learn how to care for your loved ones while appreciating them for who they were and who they still are now. In this class you will learn how to how to interact with other caregivers and family, but also how to keep your own head above water. In this class, the instructor, a retired nurse and author, will share what she learned caring for her husband with Alzheimer’s.
Students will learn from how to interact with other caregivers and family to how to treat the loved ones the students care for with dignity and appreciation.
A copy of the instructor's book "Mike & Me" is included in the cost of the class. This course may be used for healthcare CEUs. There is a one hour lunch break during the class so you may want to pack a sack lunch.
