Testing Accommodations

• It is the students' responsibility to schedule their accommodated timed exam with Assessment & Testing Services.
• Space is limited, especially for private rooms, and students will be scheduled on a first-come-first-served basis.
• Every effort should be made to schedule the exam at the same time it is being administered to the rest of the class.
•  In-person lab exams should be arranged with the student’s instructor.
• Shelton and Poulsbo campus students should also arrange their in-person exams with the Assessment & Testing Services.
• Students will be given a 'Testing Support Form' to take to their instructor with the date and time of their exam. The instructor will initial the form, provide specific exam instructions, and return it with the exam to Assessment & Testing Services. If students do not make timely arrangements for their test accommodation(s) and provide the Testing Support Form to their instructor, the student may need to take their exam with the rest of the class.
• Students must bring picture identification to their scheduled exam appointment. Students will be permitted to use only the items listed on their approved accommodation as well as other items listed by their instructor on the form. All other personal belongings will be secured in a locker. The exam will be stopped at the approved time limit.
• Exams are secured throughout the proctoring process and will not leave the designated testing area. Student violation of this procedure may result in an invalid exam.
• If a student misses their scheduled exam time, or are more than 30 minutes late, the exam will be returned to the instructor.

Any accommodated time extension should be adjusted by the instructor for all timed exams and quizzes as soon as they receive the Notice of Accommodation from Student Disability Services.

Any delay in the time adjustment may cause a delay of the students access to their exam/quiz.
