Device Checkout

1. Students must be currently enrolled at Olympic College.
2. Students must pay the Olympic College Student Tech Fee. (Included when you pay for OC tuition)
3. The IT Help Desk offers devices for quarterly check out by students currently enrolled at Olympic College or in one of our specialty or university partner programs. Return student laptops to the IT Help Desk in Bremerton 5-216.
4. Laptops are to be used for academic purposes only.
5. Student laptops are a privilege, not a right. Please follow the rules associated with them or your access to them may be suspended or revoked.
6. ​​If no laptops are available to be checked out, your name will be added to the wait list for the quarter.
7. The wait list is refreshed each quarter. If you have not received a laptop by the first day of finals week," it means you will need to reapply for the upcoming term. 

Check your OC student email regularly, as this is the only means used to notify you of laptop requests!

1. Go to the IT Information Hub in Canvas and complete the request form.
2. After completing the request form and when a device becomes available, you will be emailed to your OC email account to schedule an appointment to pick up from one of our IT locations (Bremerton or Shelton).
3. When checking out a laptop you will be required to sign the IT Resource Use Agreement, provide a government issued ID for IT to make a copy (this is something different from your student ID card), and sign in one time to the laptop at pickup. All of the above will take 10-15 minutes.

1. Return laptops to the IT Help Desk in Bremerton Bldg. 5, Rm. 216. We must conduct maintenance on the machines before we can loan them to new students. Upon return, IT will email and print a return receipt for you.
