This program is located at Olympic College’s Poulsbo campus in our modern, brand-new healthcare facility.   

What Does a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Do? 

Using advanced ultrasound imaging tools, Diagnostic Medical Sonographers help doctors diagnose and monitor health conditions. It’s a fast-paced role with both technical and patient-focused responsibilities.

Expected level of achievement (ELA)

American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registry examination pass rate of 71% for Sonography Principles & Instrumentation (SPI) for first time test takers. American Registry for Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Sonography registry pass rate of 56% for first time test takers.
