Olympic College Featured in Season 11 of The College Tour Now on Amazon Prime Video

BREMERTON – Olympic College is going prime-time with the debut of its episode of The College Tour, debuting on Amazon Prime Video, today, May 28.

The College Tour is a groundbreaking series from Emmy-nominated producers Alex Boylan, Lisa Hennessy, and Burton Roberts. Hosted by The Amazing Race winner Alex Boylan, The College Tour travels the country telling the story of each college and university through the diverse lens of its students, giving the viewer an intimate portrayal of life on campus. Inspiring and motivating, the show serves as a vehicle to help students across the world connect with higher education, enabling them to make informed decisions about their future without having to travel anywhere!

“This episode showcases our bright and resourceful students and all the programs and services available to them at OC,” said College President Marty Cavalluzzi. “But even more than that, it demonstrates the supportive community that they step into the moment they enroll.”

The Olympic College episode was filmed in December 2023, with a cast of ten OC students from a variety of academic pathways such as film, nursing, and business. With OC Executive Director of Communications Shawn Devine as its producer, the episode broke series records. It is the first episode featuring a community college in Washington state. It also features a group scene with the largest number of students, staff, and faculty in one shot in the series’ history.

“We left our unique OC stamp on The College Tour series—one that shows why so many people from the region and beyond choose to start their futures here,” said Devine, Olympic College Executive Director of Communications.

Shining a spotlight on the diverse landscape of today’s colleges, The College Tour offers viewers a comprehensive look at campuses across the country, highlighting the many resources and opportunities that are helping students thrive. The College Tour is showing just how these institutions are setting students up for success.
