Celebrate Filipino-American Heritage Month with The MIX!
What do a moon-eating serpent, mysterious forest creatures, mountain spirits, and legendary heroes have in common? They are part of the rich and diverse mythologies of the Philippines.
Join us as we explore stories, deities, spirits, and legendary creatures from different regions and cultural traditions across the Philippines. We will look beyond the stories themselves to explore what these traditions reveal about community, nature, spirituality, identity, and Filipino culture.
No prior knowledge is needed. Come ready to learn, share, and discover the stories behind some of the Philippines' most fascinating legends.
