Through a combination of hands-on practice, guided instruction, and discussion, participants will learn how to recognize and respond to choking, perform infant CPR, and take appropriate action in high-stress situations. In addition to emergency response skills, this class emphasizes prevention and everyday safety.
Topics include safe feeding practices, choking prevention, safe sleep, car seat safety, Poison Control, and common household risks.
Participants will engage in hands-on skill practice using infant manikins and will leave with practical, easy-to-understand techniques that can be applied in real-life situations.
