Dr. Bauman’s talk discusses how the leadership of two Olympic Peninsula Tribes shaped the reclamation and the restoration of two unique river systems.  Through history of western colonization and resource depletion, these two Tribes have risen as co-managers now directing the recovery of salmon populations important to the Pacific Northwest. Come have lunch with us and learn with us about indigenous knowledge in reclamation and restoration in the river systems in the Olympic Peninsula!

Please RSVP so that we can plan for lunch.
