Professional Information: The immediate Past-Chair of the Kitsap Community Foundation, Chair of the Bremerton Housing Authority, served as the President of the Kitsap County YWCA Board of Directors for ten years (2000-2010), member of the Boys and Girls Club of South Puget Sound Board of Governors, Senior Mentor Coordinator for Partnering for Youth Achievement, and a long standing member of Emmanuel Apostolic Church in West Bremerton. Ms. Bryant is also the co-founder of OurGEMS (Girls Empowered through Mentoring Services), a non-profit organization committed to empowering school-age girls to reach their fullest potential. OurGEMS started in 2008 with a small group of 8th grade students. Today, this organization serves more than 200 girls at schools throughout Kitsap County.  Harriette also serves as a Board member for the OC Foundation.

Professional Information: Rev. Dr. Frankie L. Coleman Sr. currently serves as Vice Moderator of the Ebenezer Baptist District Association (EBDA), 3rd Vice President of the North Pacific Baptist Convention (NPBC) and Vice President of Bremerton African American Ministerial Alliance (BAAMA).

In 1990, Coleman founded the Word of Life Fellowship Church in Bremerton. His continuing spiritual growth and passion for outreach led him to establish the Word of Life Fellowship Church Prison Ministry at the Washington Corrections Center for Women in Gig Harbor, and Mission to Haiti. He served faithfully as pastor for 14 years.

In 2005, the he joined Bremerton's Sinclair Missionary Baptist Church. Under his leadership, the Prison Ministry and Mission to Haiti continues, and the following ministries began: New Members Class, Sinclair Saints Soup and Sandwich Feeding Ministry, support of Coffee Oasis Feeding of Homeless Teens, Drug and Alcohol Support Group, Health Ministry, and Sinclair’s Annual Church Community Give Away.

Coleman received a bachelor's degree in Theology from Halo Christian University in Tacoma in 2002. In 2006, he earned a master's in Theology from Tacoma's Faith Evangelical College and Seminary, where he also earned his Doctorate in Human Letters in 2014.

A military veteran, Coleman, served in the U.S. Army as an Aviation Unit Supply Specialist from 1981 to 1985,

Rev. Dr. Frankie L. Coleman Sr. is a native of Thibodaux, Louisiana. He currently resides in Port Orchard. He is married to Eileen (Bonds) Coleman and they have two children, Grace, of Atlanta, Georgia; and Frankie, Jr., of Port Orchard.

Education: Master’s in teaching and learning, Heritage University

Professional Information: Candelario was born in McMinnville, Oregon on March 7, 1971. As a young child we travelled as a migrant family (mom, dad and four siblings) throughout Oregon and Washington finding work wherever the crop’s harvest would lead us. We finally put down roots in Skagit County, Washington in 1973.

I graduated from Burlington-Edison High School in 1989. I attended Skagit Valley College where I received my associate’s degree in 1993. I then received my bachelor’s degree in education from Central Washington University in 1995 and my master’s degree in teaching and learning from Heritage University in 2010.

I have been a public educator in the beautiful state of Washington for over twenty years. I have worked in the Shelton School District for the last sixteen years as a fourth grade teacher. I know how important a quality education is to the future of one’s life. I hope to help Olympic College be the best that it can be in providing life changing educational opportunities for all students.

Education: Bachelor of Arts in Economics, WWU 1996; Associate in Applied Science Business Administration & Management, Olympic College, 1994

Professional Information: Mark is a Kitsap native and an Olympic College alumnus. He is the Director of Marketing for Kitsap Mental Health Services and has more than 25 years of marketing and communications experience, primarily with regional nonprofits. A strong supporter of community initiatives, Mark has helped start, direct and support several organizations that have raised funds for education, health and safety.

Appointed: Oct. 4, 2021; Term expires Sept. 30, 2026

Education: University of Oklahoma, College of Law, Masters in Legal Studies, with an emphasis in Indigenous Law.

Professional Information: Since 2012, Ms. Miller has served as the Community Services Division Director for the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe. Ms. Miller oversees all of the Title IVE Child Welfare Programs, TANF, Child Support, Maternal Home visiting, WIC, Vulnerable Adult and the Elder and Youth Programs. Ms. Miller has 30 plus years of experience working at the state and tribal level in child welfare, primarily in Indian Child Welfare. She also currently serves as a technical advisor for the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe on the ACF TAC Committee.

She has extensive volunteer community service experience, including two years as a board member for Kitsap Mental Health, three years on the Kitsap Human Rights Committee, two years on the board of United Way of Mason County and most recently, three years on the OC Human Services Advisory Committee.

Ms. Miller has been married to Craig Miller for 34 years and together they have 6 children, 6 grandsons and one granddaughter.
