Explore the beauty of eco-printing in this hands-on class using natural leaves and flowers to create one-of-a-kind textiles. You will be introduced to the materials, methods, and simple science behind botanical dyes while experimenting with pattern and color.
Each participant will create a long silk scarf and a large cotton bandana, allowing you to compare how different fibers absorb color. All materials are provided.
Please do not bring your own fabrics, as they require special preparation beforehand, and you will learn how to do this for future projects.
