This hands-on course introduces students to the essential mechanical and electrical systems found on small vessels. Topics include DC voltage circuits, safety protocols, outboard engine types, navigational equipment, and routine maintenance schedules. Students will gain practical experience aboard a supplied vessel, learning industry-standard procedures for inspection, startup, and repair across various small craft platforms.

Through guided walkthroughs and troubleshooting exercises, participants will build foundational skills in marine maintenance and safety. The course culminates in applied troubleshooting scenarios, preparing students for real-world challenges. Ideal for first-time marine technicians and small craft owners seeking to deepen their technical knowledge and confidence around boat systems.
