Introducing the Olympic College 2025 All-WA Academic Team

Each year, the All-Washington Academic Team honors the state’s top community and technical college students for their academic achievement, leadership, and community service. This year, four outstanding Olympic College students earned this prestigious recognition: Jamiee Mosey, Dorcas Osangiri, Ryha Sisson, and William Webb.

These students exemplify the excellence and community spirit found throughout Washington’s higher education system. They will be celebrated during a special ceremony on April 24 at South Puget Sound Community College in Lacey, WA. The event will also be livestreamed on SPCC’s YouTube channel beginning at 12:30pm on April 24.

Meet the remarkable Olympic College students being honored this year.

Jaimee Mosey

Jaimee Mosey

GPA: 3.57

Program: Associate in Arts - Direct Transfer Agreement, Marketing/International Relations

Jaimee is a Running Start student at Olympic College and North Kitsap High School. She currently serves as the Treasurer of Phi Theta Kappa and as the Director of Clubs and Student Life at Olympic College. This fall, she plans to attend San Diego State University, where she will pursue a double major in marketing and international relations. In her free time, Jaimee enjoys watching Formula 1 races and spending quality time with loved ones.


Dorcas Ocanigri

Dorcas Osangiri

GPA: 3.88

Program: Associate of Science - Transfer, Electrical/Computer Engineering 

Dorcas is pursuing her associate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and serves as a Multicultural Student Officer, Vice President of the Black Student Union, and Treasurer of the Women in Cyber Security Club at Olympic College. She is passionate about engineering and empowering women to pursue engineering careers. In her free time, Dorcas enjoys volunteering and sharing her college experiences on TikTok. She loves true crime shows, exploring new recipes, and learning new cultures.  


Ryha Sisson

Ryha Sisson

GPA: 4.0

Program: Associate in Arts - Direct Transfer Agreement

Ryha is a Senior at Shelton High School and attends Running Start at Olympic College. She graduates in June 2025, earning her diploma and an AA-DTA degree. After graduation, she plans to pursue a master's degree. She’s been honored to participate in clubs and honor societies, including Phi Theta Kappa. She takes great pride in her work and in her free time she loves to read, hike, and explore the PNW with her family. 


William Webb

William Webb

GPA: 3.49

Program: Associate in Technical Arts, Nursing

Will is a nursing student at Olympic College. His background includes commercial diving, subsea remotely operated vehicles (ROV) piloting and EMS. Will has been an Emergency Room Tech at a local hospital throughout prerequisites and the nursing program. He will graduate in 2026 and intends to pursue a career in flight nursing. When not engaged in school or work, he likes backpacking, road cycling and spending time with his wife and three cats.
