Learn how you learn from a cognitive and psychological perspective, providing theory and research to support concepts, and then an application based section where we discuss what learning is formal and informal and how we can bring learning and critical thinking to other areas of our lives.

Taught by Amanda Bermudez:

Dr. Amanda Bermudez is an experienced educator and researcher dedicated to advancing their expertise in educational psychology while creating enriching learning experiences for students from diverse backgrounds. With a strong foundation in both online and in-person teaching, Dr. Bermudez is passionate about fostering student engagement and success. Their teaching approach is informed by interdisciplinary research and technology integration in learning environments. Dr. Bermudez has taught in both university and community college settings around psychology and learning sciences topics for many years!

Amanda is looking forward to connecting in their new community and hope to provide a fun and inviting space for us all to grow as learners!
