Drew Warrington, a student featured on the Prime Video television show The College Tour, found a supportive landing spot at Olympic College. After being homeless, Drew was able to establish housing and a career path at OC with the help of a scholarship. Now, she’s working toward earning her associate degree before transferring to a university to pursue a bachelor’s in engineering.

“I’m so grateful to Olympic College for all the resources and support I’ve received since enrolling,” she says.

Drew connects with other science-minded students in MESA, a program for people from underrepresented populations in STEM. MESA offers resources such as tutoring, books and equipment for classes, and tickets to scientific conferences. Students like Drew also find community in the program’s on-campus study center. “Since joining MESA, I’ve met so many other amazing STEM majors,” she says.
