Biology
OVERVIEW
Biology is the study of living organisms, their structure, evolutionary development, behavior and life processes. Biologists also study the relationships between animals, plants, microorganisms and their environments. The Biology Department offer classes for students who are:
- Planning to transfer to a four-year degree program in Biology or related sciences.
- Enrolled in or seeking to enter health-related professions such as nursing, surgical technology, respiratory therapy and more.
- Pursuing studies in other majors who seek elective science courses.
