Geography
OVERVIEW
Geography is the study of place and space. Geographers study where and why things are located on the surface of the earth and how people interact with the environment. Human geography and physical geography are the two main branches of this discipline. Human geography focuses on the spatial aspects of human existence, including population, culture and economic activities. Physical geographers study climates, land forms, vegetation, soils and water.
