CTE Dual Credit: What Students Need to Know

CTE Dual Credit: What Students Need to Know

High school students, you can take a Career & Technical Education (CTE) class in your high school and earn "dual credit" for both high school and college!

Use your credits at Olympic College or transfer them anywhere. College credits earned as CTE Dual Credit may count as elective credits at colleges in or out of the state of Washington.

Not sure a four-year college is your next step? Here are three ways to use your college credits for a head start in the world of work:

  1. Add college credit to your resume to stand out to employers and apprenticeship programs.
  2. Send official college credits to your military recruiter—12+ credits may qualify you for higher pay.
  3. Use your credits at any Washington Community & Technical College to jump‑start a career in an in‑demand field.

High school credit is awarded automatically in accordance with your high school's policies.

Follow the Steps below to get any CTE college credit you have earned!
