The Financial Aid office can help you complete all of the steps needed to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA). See below for information and instructions, and contact the Welcome Center for more info including online and in-person financial aid workshops.

The FAFSA opens the door to a host of funding sources including federal and state grants, work-study jobs, scholarships, and loans.

After submitting the FAFSA, watch for an email from us letting you know we received it and complete any "to-do" items assigned to you for the quickest processing. You can access these and other resources through the ctcLink Student Homepage.

Undocumented students and students who are not eligible to submit the FAFSA because of their immigration status should submit the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA).

Priority Application Deadlines
Financial Aid Priority Date: After completing the FAFSA/WASFA, students are recommended to submit all additional required documents by the Financial Aid Priority Date for a priority review of file.
- Summer Quarter 2025: no priority date, first-come-first-serve
- Fall Quarter 2025: Jul.23, 2025
- Winter Quarter 2026: Oct. 29, 2025
- Spring Quarter 2026: Feb. 4, 2026
Files submitted after the published Financial Aid Priority Date will still be reviewed, but your financial aid may not be ready by the start of the quarter.
