Submit the WASFA

Submit the WASFA

Not eligible to complete the FAFSA? Consider completing the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA) which is available for students who are undocumented, do not have an eligible immigration status for federal aid, or do not have a Social Security Number. Students who prefer not to share financial information with the federal government may also use the WASFA to apply for Washington state aid. You should only complete one application; if you are unsure which is right for you, contact our financial aid office before you apply.

Priority Application Deadlines

Applying early gives you the best chance of having financial aid ready before your classes begin. After completing your FAFSA or WASFA, submit any additional required documents by the priority date for your quarter. Check your student account regularly — we will communicate next steps and any outstanding requirements through your account notifications.

Summer Quarter 2026: no priority date, first-come-first-serve
Fall Quarter 2026: Jul. 20, 2026
Winter Quarter 2027: Nov. 2, 2026
Spring Quarter 2027: Feb. 1, 2027

Files submitted after the priority date will still be reviewed. Please be aware that for the 2026-27 aid year, federal financial aid program changes may affect processing timelines industry-wide.  We are working to award aid as quickly as possible and will notify you through your student account when your award is ready. Submitting your application and documents early and checking your account regularly is the best way to stay informed and avoid delays.
