The Child Development & Family Center (CDFC) at Olympic College is the oldest of our child care programs. We believe in providing a broad and balanced curriculum tailored to each child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills, interests, and challenges. Children are provided with a developmentally appropriate and generously furnished classrooms and playground environments with teachers who understand that their role is to facilitate children's play-based learning.
The CDFC also functions as a learning laboratory for OC's Early Childhood Education program students. Frequent and diverse opportunities are made available for parent participation through the cooperation of OC's Parent Education program.
Families are offered full day, 1/2 day, or 1/3 day care on days that OC parents are attending class, studying, or at work. Families receiving financial assistance from the Washington Department of Social and Health Services are welcome.
