Our program provides financial assistance to WorkFirst participants attending Olympic College while receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) benefits. The primary services we offer include: 

  • Financial assistance towards tuition, fees, books, and support services
  • Work-Study: Combining learning and work
  • Educational advising related to Professional-Technical programs

Students are encouraged to meet with one of our transitions coordinators to discuss funding opportunities and educational planning. 

Eligibility & Program Info

  • Must be currently enrolled at Olympic College.
  • Receiving TANF benefits. 
  • Referred for education and training by DSHS or other WorkFirst partner agency.
  • Must enroll in or be enrolled in eligible Professional-Technical or Transitional Studies program.
