Parking

Every vehicle parked on campus is required to be properly credentialed. This means they display a current visitor, student, or employee parking permit. 

• No parking permitted.
• Limit 15 minutes.  
• Driver must remain with their vehicle.

• Limit 20 minutes without visitor's pass.  
• Unlimited time with visitor's pass, expires at midnight.  
• Students and Employees cannot use visitor's parking.
• Visitor Permits available at OC parking pass online.

• General parking requires one of the following:
• Student Parking Sticker - Placed on the outside of the rear window, in the bottom passenger-side corner of the rear window.  
• Temporary Student Parking Permit - Placed on Driver's side dashboard (three day maximum).
• Visitor's Pass (non-students & non-employees only) - Placed on Driver's side dashboard.
• Full-Time Employees (Red placard) and Part-Time Employees (Blue placard) - Placed on the rear view mirror, or driver's side dashboard if you have no rear view mirror.

• All employees are eligible to park in the Employee Lots.
• Parking availability is a first-come, first-served basis.
• Placard must be displayed on rear view mirror, or driver side dash.
• Placards are transferable between vehicles. You do not have to buy multiple placards.
• Employees may park in General Lots if there are no spaces available in the employee lots.

• There are five stations available in the G-1 lot on a first-come, first-serve basis.
• Charging stations may be under repair, so please check the status.
• Register on the Blink Network.
• After you register, you will receive a card. The chargers are activated by using the card and a passcode.
• The card can also be used at other chargers at locations across the U.S. There is a map on the Blink Network that shows you where charging stations are and which ones are currently in use.

• During open parking times, parking in all Olympic College lots is allowed without a permit.  
• Open Parking allows people to use Employee parking lots (F-lots) as if they were general parking (G-lots).  
• Open Parking is defined in OC Policy 200-16 as follows:
  • Between 4 p.m. and 6 a.m. weekdays, and all weekends and holidays; and from the first day of Summer Session through August 31.

Every vehicle parked on Olympic College property must have a parking permit, except visitors who are parked for less than 20 minutes. Security officers do check, and will document the time of visitor's parking arrivals.

* If you need to get your student ID card, you can get that at Campus Safety & Security if you show a copy of your class schedule and valid state or government issued identification.

** If your vehicle has temporary license plates, register online and you will still receive a parking permit to display on the vehicle. You will be required to edit your new license plates when you receive them. Just long onto your account.

This allows for quick identification of properly-permitted vehicles. Different placement of the sticker can result in a "no permit" citation, as the placement of the permit is part of the permit validation.

Parking permits are good for one academic year. The cost is included with your Security Enhancement Fee. 

Permits need to be renewed at the beginning of every Fall Quarter, or as soon as you start during the academic year.

We begin issuing new parking permits at the end of each Summer quarter. Your Security Enhancement Fee allows you one Student Parking Permit. You may purchase up to two additional permits for an additional cost of $20.00 each, payable at the Cashier Office. No more than one permitted vehicle is allowed to park on campus at any one time. Permits and parking privileges are revocable.

Students are allowed no more than three daily visitor parking passes per quarter unless special permission is granted by the Campus Security Director.
