Federal Pell Grants are typically awarded to undergraduate students who display exceptional financial need and have not earned a bachelor's, graduate or professional degree.

The Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant is for students who are eligible to receive the Pell grant and have exceptional financial need. You must be enrolled at least half-time, and meet Satisfactory Academic Progress to qualify.

The BFET program offers financial and case management support to students who are eligible to receive or are receiving SNAP benefits and not currently receiving TANF.

Basic Food Employment & Training

The College Bound Scholarship is an early commitment of state financial aid to eligible students who enroll in middle school and meet the pledge requirements. The College Bound Scholarship covers average tuition at public college rates, some fees, and a small book allowance at over 65 colleges, universities, and technical schools in Washington.

COLLEGE BOUND SCHOLARSHIP

The Olympic College Grant is comprised of funds derived from tuition charges. To be eligible a student must be:

•     A resident of the state of Washington, or
•     Dependent of active duty members of the military stationed locally.
•     Must not have received a bachelor's degree.
•     Must be enrolled at least six credit hours.
•     Subject to the availability of funds.

If you qualify, this grant will automatically be included in your financial aid package. You must submit the FAFSA to qualify.

The Passport to Careers program helps students from foster care and unaccompanied homeless youth attend and succeed in college, apprenticeships, and pre-apprenticeship programs. Visit the Olympic College Passport Program webpage to learn more.

Passport to Careers Grant

The Washington College Grant (WCG) is one of the most generous financial aid programs in the country. People of all ages from low- and middle-income families may qualify to get money for college, career training, and participating apprenticeships.

WCG-Connect (WCG-C) is a program where a student may be considered for WCG without filing a FAFSA or WASFA if they are receiving benefits from one of the following programs: 

• Aged, Blind or Disabled (ABD) program 
• Housing and Essential Needs (HEN) Referral Program 
• Pregnant Women Assistance (PWA) 
• Economic Security for All (EcSA)

Students wanting to be considered for WCG-C are required to self-identify by submitting this form along with proof of benefit eligibility to either Financial Aid or the Welcome Center. 

Students applying for WCG-C are encouraged to apply for either the FAFSA or WASFA to be considered additional sources of funding for their education.

Eligible students pursuing technical training may qualify for up to $4,000 per quarter in grants and other services. Find out more on our Worker Retraining webpage.

The WorkFirst Program provides financial assistance to WorkFirst participants attending Olympic College while receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families benefits and have been referred for education and training by Department of Social & Health Services or other WorkFirst partner agency.
