Overview

Washington State University (WSU) offers a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree at Olympic College's Bremerton campus. The program is a partnership between WSU and OC to offer the last two years of a four year Mechanical Engineering degree in Bremerton.

The Bachelor of Science degree is available to students who have completed the Associate of Science degree at their local community college and are eligible for certification into the BSME program. Students who have started in a traditional four-year program are also eligible to enroll in this program to complete the last two years of their degree.

Academic Program

You can fulfill the university’s general education and pre-engineering requirements at any college and complete your degree through WSU’s Mechanical Engineering program, located on the Olympic College campus in Bremerton. While it isn’t required for admission, we recommend pursuing a transfer degree if possible. The Associate in Science-Transfer, Track 2 (AS-T, Track 2) degree is well suited for pre-engineering study, as it includes the majority of WSU general education (UCORE) requirements and allows room for the engineering prerequisites.
