If you test positive for COVID-19, come into close contact with someone who tested positive, or if you have COVID-19 like symptoms, please email the Olympic College COVID-19 response team and someone will get back to you right way with guidance and next steps.

COVID-19 Health & Safety Precautions

Olympic College encourages everyone on campus to practice the following health and hygiene habits: 

  • Report confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 to: 
    • Professor, Supervisor, Human Resources, or @email 
  • Stay home if you are feeling sick 
  • Practice good hygiene etiquette
  • Voluntarily wear a mask

Information line established for COVID-19 in Kitsap County

Kitsap County has established an information line to address questions and concerns raised by the Novel Coronavirus Outbreak (COVID-19) and that phone number is 2-1-1. This resource is designed to supplement the commonly asked questions and answers about COVID-19 already posted on the Kitsap Public Health District’s website.

Public Health Agencies have published basic steps that all citizens should take to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases:

  • Wash your hands frequently
  • Avoid touching your face
  • Cough and sneeze into a bent elbow or tissue, then throw away the tissue
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick
  • Stay home when you or a family member is sick
  • Clean and disinfect frequently used objects and surfaces

The Washington State Department of Health has established a hotline if you have specific questions about COVID-19: 1-800-525-0127.
