Small class sizes and partnerships with clinical sites mean that healthcare students like Anne Edwards can enter high-demand careers with confidence. Anne shares how OC has supported her while she studies to become a pediatric nurse.

Mora Morales found a supportive environment to be her most creative self at OC Film School. Students in the program take part in every aspect of filmmaking, from acting to directing, with the help of faculty who are active in and knowledgeable about the industry.

Students can literally shoot for the moon at OC. While Drew Warrington works toward her associate degree on the way to an engineering bachelor's program, she has honed her skills at OC's Engineering Lab. Along the way, she's leaning on support from scholarships, clubs, and the welcoming community at MESA, a program for underrepresented populations in STEM.

Student-athletes gain confidence and make lasting friendships at OC. Track athlete Guyland Charles explains how counselors at OC helped him overcome perfectionism on the track and in the classroom, and led him to pursue a career as a school counselor to help other students like him.

After working in the Navy, Jeffery Timm found a perfect landing spot at the Military & Veteran Support Center. Thanks to a partnership with Western Washington University, he was able to continue leaning on his local community for support while earning a bachelor's degree from OC's Poulsbo Campus.

OC students access ample grant programs to help them achieve their dreams. Thanks to BFET, the Basic Food Employment & Training program, Keya Rohlman was able to go back to school full-time as a single mom to become a licensed substance abuse counselor.

Driven high school students like Ryha Sisson can earn free college credits at OC through the Running Start program. At OC's Shelton Campus, Ryha loves the flexibility of hybrid classes and hiking trails just steps from the classrooms.

Equity and inclusion is key at OC, and it's bolstered by clubs, military and veteran support, knowledgeable advisors, and more. Tina Habibullah has enjoyed this welcoming environment and help from advisors while pursuing her Registered Nurse degree.

Alum Tovi Agtay enjoyed his time at OC so much that he decided to work here after graduating! It was made possible thanks to his bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership & Technical Management, which is available to OC students right on campus—no transfer needed.

Vecksle Drake surmounted self-doubt with the help of advisors and a college success course. He eventually finished his associate degree and went on to earn a university bachelor's degree and opportunities to travel the world, thanks to a direct transfer agreement between OC and the University of Washington.
