About the Board
The Board of trustees is the “governing body” of the college, working at the policy level to ensure Olympic College is fulfilling its mission. The board is comprised of five members, each serving rotating five-year terms. Board responsibilities include:
- Hiring and retaining the president
- Awarding tenure to faculty
- Adopting or amending policies
- Approval of collective bargaining agreements
- Approval of tuition and fees
- Approval of the operating and capital budgets

Public Comments
If you wish to address the Board of Trustees during the public comment portion of the agenda, please fill out and return the Public Comment Sign- Up Form to the Chief of Staff prior to the start of the meeting.
