The Military Education and Veteran Services Department is your one-stop shop to accessing your VA Education, Military Tuition Assistance, MyCAA benefits, and additional support services at Olympic College. We are currently located on the Bremerton Campus in the Engineering (ENG) Building. The Veteran and Military Benefits team assists in the processing and certification of educational benefits (VA, TA, MyCAA). The Veteran and Military Support Center team provides support services including assistance with admissions, eBenefits, Web TA, advising appointments, and referrals.

Veterans Benefits Briefing & New Student Orientation (SOAR)

Veterans Benefits Orientation is comprised to two events:

1. An Olympic College SOAR: A special Session tailored for Military/Veteran Students. The SOAR sessions are an easy, convenient way for you to get all the information you need to start your education and begin preparing for your first quarter. After the session you will be invited to schedule an appointment with our Veteran Transitions Manager who can advise you for an Associates in General Studies, Associates in Arts - DIrect Transfer Agreement(DTA) or provide referrals to program and faculty advisors.

2. A Veterans Benefits Briefing: This benefits briefing is designed to teach you everything about your Post 9/11 GI Bill® Education Benefits, how to properly utilize your benefits, what you can expect from Olympic College MEVS Department and what we expect from you.
