Draper Rivers enters his second season as the Rangers Assistant Jump Coach for the Track & Field teams. He also has been a Track and Field coach for the Bremerton Jaguars Track and Field Club since 2013.
Coming out of high school Draper was ranked 1st in the state of California and 4th in the nation in the triple jump. Draper attended college at Long Beach City College for two years in the long jump, high jump, triple jump and the 400m dash. He then transfered to the University of Southern California.
In 2009, Draper moved to Bremerton WA from San Diego. He is currently working for Vigor Shipyard as a Production Supervisor, helping build and maintain the Washington State Ferrys.
