A Pacific Islander from the Island of Guam, Robert Pereira moved to WA with his family in 1984 at the age of 13. Robert begins his first season with the Olympic Rangers and will lead the outfielders.
Pereira played baseball at Olympic High School under coach Robin Campbell, graduating in 1989, and also played for our local communities American Legion Baseball Program.
He started coaching in 2003 and then went on to coach select baseball with the WestHills Vipers for 3 years and Northwest Blaze Baseball for 4 years, where he is currently Assisting with the 18U Baseball Club and infield coordinator for the Blaze organization. He was the Assistant Baseball Coach for Olympic High School from 2012-2015 and also coached Olympic's American Legion summer team for 2 years.
Robert and his wife, Crissy, currently reside in Poulsbo, WA, with their 4 children Kailiahna, Jaiden, Kylen and Nevaeh.
