Jaymie Cox is in her third season as the head coach of Olympic Volleyball. She has been coaching volleyball for 13 years in addition to various stints coaching basketball, softball, and baseball. She started at Kelso High School in Kelso, Washington, before moving on to Three Rivers Christian. As the head coach of TRCS, Jaymie took a 0-20 team to the state championships in her second season. She was named Columbia Valley League Coach of the Year and led the team to a district championship in her third season. She also spent time as a club coach with Excel Northwest (Vancouver, Wash.) before moving to Australia to work for the Australian Baseball League, the professional baseball league there.
Jaymie played softball and volleyball at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon, where she graduated with a BA in Communications. She completed a double masters in Sport Management and Sport Coaching at the United State Sports Academy in March of 2017. She has worked for and around the NWAC for 11 years, most recently as the Sports Information Assistant. She is originally from a small town in Eastern Washington outside Spokane.
