Shelton Campus

The Palmer Student Center is prominently located at the campus entry and a hub where people come and go all day. Within the space you will find Student Services staff working to assist students with college admissions, academic program information, advising, enrollment, registration, and support resources. Personalized guidance is available for those needing 1:1 help with online applications and/or student accounts.

A Student Government (SGOC) office is also located in the loft area where a student employee works part time advocating on behalf of the college student body. The SGOC organizes campus-wide events and decides how to allocate the budget for student activities. The loft area is also reserved for tutoring.

Stop by the Avanti Market for a selection of fresh grab-and-go drinks, snacks, and fresh/frozen foods. A self-pay kiosk accepts credit/debit cards OR use a bar code tag to create an Avanti account and load funds using cash or card. Download the mobile app for contactless payment. Open seating is set aside for eating and quiet conversations. 

The Johnson Library offers access to physical and digital resources at the Shelton campus.

History of the Johnson Library

Construction of The Johnson Library was completed in July 2003 and dedicated on August 26, 2003. The facility is equipped with fiber optics, three interactive television spaces, a student computer lab, private offices, and a small conference room.

The library is named for Wes Johnson, the long-time Mason County resident and entrepreneur who bequeathed part of his estate to benefit Olympic College-Shelton. A state grant of $500,000 and a generous $142,000 gift from Richard Kramer provided the remaining funding to make this significant addition to our campus and community.

The Shelton campus computer lab is located in the S4 Building. Students can use computers to access their ctcLink student account, Canvas, Office 365, and other applications offered by the college.

Printers are available for enrolled students as well. Each quarter, students automatically receive 2,500 points toward usage. Each page printed is 10 points per color page and five points per black/white page. If needed, additional points can be purchased at the Cashier's office.
