• Tech Prep: West Sound Education Consortium

    Tech Prep allows students who demonstrate mastery of specific skills to earn dual high school and college credits while still in high school, and while preparing for a career in a vocational or technical field.

    Tech Prep is a combined secondary/post-secondary program that:

    • Builds student competence in math, science, and communication through a sequential course of study.
    • Provides technical preparation in at least one field of vocational/technical studies.
    • Prepares high school students for the real world of work.
    • Can lead to an Associate of Technical Arts degree or a certificate.
